FUN FEARLESS MALE

As one of my favorite artists, I was pleased to see Common named as one of Cosmopolitan's Fun Fearless Males. He definitely deserves the nod.  Not only is he always handsome and dapper looking, he is an amazing rapper. As an acclaimed lyricist, Common raps about everything from falling in love to poverty to politics.

Common was born in Chicago on the South Side. He is the son of an educator and a former ABA Basketball Player.  Common dropped out of Florida University to pursue a career in rap. With albums such as "Can I Borrow a Dollar?" and "Be",  he went on to sell millions of records with his sweet ryhmes and conscious lyrics. He dabbled in acting and starred in Smoking Aces, American Gangster and recently Wanted with Angelina Jolie.

He has won plenty of awards, some including Hip Hop Artist of the Year and Lyricist of the Year. With his most recent album just released, Universal Mind Control, Common is not slowing down. As one of my favorite artists and lyricists, I am proud to say Common is a Fun Fearless Male!
