OWN YOUR LIFE

Just like the title says, Own Your Life, and don't let Stress Own You. I'm always talking to friends and family and they're always saying how busy their lives can be. Sometimes it's okay to just say NO to certain things. If you're feeling overwhelmed and too stressed out, take a step back and re-prioritize your life. This means prioritize what's important, WHO is important and why these things are important to you.

Manage Your Stress:
-Stop! Take a deep breath and realize that you have the power to control  your own life
-Be aware of your choice, you always have a choice
-Say something positive when you wake up in the morning
-Start everyday with a reflection
-Focus on one task at a time, don't overdo it
-Figure out what's most important to you and your lifestyle
-Physically write a list of the top to-dos
-Treat your body right, eat balanced meals, exercise, sleep well
-Visualize positive things in life, your outcome will be grand
-Communicate with your emotions

A few other fun tips:
-yoga is very relaxing
-light candles and take a bubble bath, at least twice a week
-do not just read about dealing with stress, DO IT
-keep a journal or diary where you can express thoughts, emotions
-find a relaxing hobby
-treat yourself to a massage (my fave!)

Either way you deal with stress in your life, always remember, material things will be there, don't forget the real people in your life!
