BE A RECCESIONISTA

With a slowing economy and tightening credit, many fashionistas are going into serious withdrawl. As many previous posts of mine talk about stretching your dollar, spending wisely and saving money, there are ways to do this and still dress cute. A Reccesionista is someone who devoutly follows fashion on a budget. I love style and always find new trends but times are changing. And now, more then ever, we have to use our wardrobe wisely. Key words: mix and match. I try to have my staple dress pants and dress tops and mix and match them.  Oh and accessorize! Some fashion jewellery, scarves and headbands always perk up an outfit and add a new look. Sometimes a great handbag also adds to the outfit.

Here's a few more tips:

1. Spend on items you'll wear the most

2. Restock your basics (tees, socks and pj's) as cheaply as possible

3. Build on your signature style
