A mama's boy is a term used for a man who is overly attached to his mom at an age when men are expected to be independent. Being a mama's boy is sometime seen as a sign of weakness. A mother-bonded man is usually seen to give control of his own life to his mother. Sometimes when a grown man has moved on and found a significant other, the mother would like a tighter hold over her son. Some mother's must learn to control their sense of control with their sons.The mama's boy must make the decision to move away from the mother's nest and move on and grow up and become self sufficient.
